It's time to start creating content for people, not the algorithm.

Because Instagram should be fun for creatives like yourself, not just another thing on your to-do list.

Instagram may not be filling your cup right now, but it can be if we rewind back to what we loved about it in the first place: connection and conversation.

You’ve found the place where you are free to release the comparison, let go of the obligation to be perfect online, and stop obsessing over the doom and gloom that is the algorithm.

Here, we’ll go back to the creative core of your brand, discover what makes you confident, and reach into the heart of what you love about your business to share that passion with others.

Through organic, connection-driven content, you’ll have the power to nurture your audience, sell without the ick, and lead a lifestyle-first business that doesn’t require you to be online 24/7.

Because who really wants that?!

let's work together

Remember the ‘good old days’ of Instagram back in 2018, where simply ‘showing your face’ or posting lovely photos was enough to get hundreds (even thousands!!) of likes and comments?

As a photographer, content creator, and social media strategist, I know what it’s like to miss the Instagram that was a photo sharing app. After all, part of what I loved about managing my clients’ accounts was the photography, the art, the beautiful graphics. (I do love an aesthetically pleasing grid!)

When Reels came out in 2020, I, like my clients, struggled with the transition. It turned out that while I loved managing my clients’ social media (and had tons of experience doing so), what I thrived in even more was photography.

Before I even knew I was a photographer at heart, it was my outlet. I used to get out of the house simply to walk around beautiful villages with my camera. When I’m holding my camera is when I’m happiest.

Get to know me

A FEW THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW...

I spent half my Childhood living in Taiwan, and learnt Mandarin from the age of 7.

I’m happiest when I’ve got my camera exploring new places.

When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me re-watching Friends for the 48th time.

I LOVE dogs. I'm that type of person who will stop to say hi to every dog that walks past me.

Let's go back to the beginning...

how it all started

Travel had long been a part of my life, and my SD cards filled with photos from my adventures across Asia, Europe, America, and, of course, my home in the UK. Living abroad in Taiwan as a child cultivated in me a love for cultures different from mine and an appreciation for experiencing the world. But what did photography, travel, and Instagram have in common? The answer was creativity.

From a young age, I was always encouraged to be creative by my witty mum, inventive sister, and crafty granddad who once made elaborate angel wings for our Christmas play that outshone all the other kids. (And don’t even get me started on the choreographed dances my sister and I would perform for my family!). I am an introverted soul but with serious creative energy about me.

That’s why, instead of finishing my university degree in Chinese, I found work at an architecture firm, where I discovered my passion for interiors and honed my marketing skills.

Before long, I became the in-house photographer capturing home interiors and freelancing on the side for various colleagues who had their own businesses. There wasn’t a definitive moment where I decided to own my own business – it simply happened. Today, I couldn’t imagine things turning out differently.

But it hasn't all been smooth sailing

Truth be told, i lost sight of why i started.

Over the last few years of up-and-down changes on Instagram, I lost sight of why I started– but then I realised I didn’t need to change myself for the platform, and neither do you.

What we need to do is release the fears, trends, and expectations and get back to what we love: creating, and building authentic connections with the amazing, brilliant people we get to work with every day as business owners.

See, you don’t need millions or even thousands to thrive as a creative business that needs to be online.

You simply need to create the kind of content that inspires conversation with the people you’re most fired up to work with.

Whether you’re here for help creating, strategizing, or photographing content, I’m here to support you. We’ll be besties if you love bonding over Friends, self-care, dogs, travel, and family. When you’re my client, you aren’t an account I’m robotically strategizing for– you’re a whole person, and I can’t wait to get to know you.

Let’s make Instagram fun for you again!

"ABBIE HAS BEEN ONE OF THE BEST INVESTMENTS I’VE MADE IN MY BUSINESS"

With her guidance and strategy, I’ve nearly doubled the lead time that I’m booking out, and almost every client who comes my way mentions how much they love following me on Instagram. They typically also mention one or two posts specifically that enticed them to reach out - which rarely happened before I started working with Abbie.

Aside from the tangible results, Abbie is also an incredibly kind and thoughtful collaborator, and an absolute joy to work with. I feel so grateful to have found her when I did.

If you’re searching for social media help - don’t bother looking any further! Abbie is your gal!!
